Light snow is beginning to show on radar to the northwest of the Ohio River. This area of light snow will eventually move into Kentucky overnight after midnight. Right now, it isnt expected to amount to much. The cold wave that began early this week will stretch through the weekend, sending temperatures plummeting to dangerously low levels...especially Wednesday. Very windy conditions will persist for the next couple of days, making the temperatures feel even colder than actual. Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph over the next two or three days will make it feel brutal. Wind chills may get to ten degrees below zero Wednesday evening which will be at advisory criteria. These are dangerously cold temperatures and everyone should take precautions. Then...by Sunday night, a serious storm looks to impact the region with it starting as rain and snow but changing to snow and sleet. This storm may last for a two or three days. Having said that, as usual, the track will play a big role in what happens. It will be a few days before we know what to expect. A Thought; Always pray to have eyes that will see the best in people, a heart that will forgive the worst in others, a mind that will allow you to forget the bad things that have happened and a soul that will never let you lose faith in the Creator. Rest well and warm my friends.
