Light week of training means Im adding in some power movements into the program. KB swings are such a great exercise but are done incorrectly so often which leads to injuries. Done correctly its great for glute and hamstring power along with back and core strength. This is effectively an explosive deadlift so if you dont have the mobility or strength to do a deadlift with a reasonable weight then you shouldnt be doing swings. The swing is a hip hinge movement and not a squat. Keep the bell close to the groin with minimal knee bend and let the arms simply guide the bell as its propelled by the explosive hip thrust. #TheStrength4EnduranceProject #formmatters #kbswing #athlete #triathlete #cyclist #ironman #strengthandconditioning
