Lightning Returns is pretty terrible but Im trying to not - TopicsExpress

Lightning Returns is pretty terrible but Im trying to not completely give up on it as I have 2 more days. Currently my game timer says 19 hours... Eww. After 19 hours, usually I can figure something about how to make combat suck less. As it is, my strategy is Run from everything ever and if you get dragged in combat, escape and just eat that hour because its not worth it. I hate combat and usually die anyway. Theres no experience points so why should I ever fight unless Im getting quest items? I do feel rushed, and by the time I complete a quest, the NPC is gone because its no longer business hours. The Wildlands are a little better now that I have a functional flying chocobo. Takes forever to get anywhere, and every NPC is like hey, thanks for doing this quest, why dont you go talk to someone else on the other side of the map to get completion credit lololol. I did venture out to the Dead Dunes but havent gotten anywhere since there was a sandstorm. I have absolutely nothing completed. Found Noel at 5:30, couldnt chase him down fast enough. Got to the sealed ice door in patrons palace at 5:30, couldnt find the key to open it fast enough. I have 2/5 things for Sazh. Supposed to be finding a mysterious village and entering some temple with my chocobo. No idea with Dead Dunes. Its 6:30pm with 2 days to go, Im worried I will get nothing resolved by the point I run completely out of time. Not sure I really care. I got to a controller throwing frustration point this morning and was tempted to spend the last there days at the inn or just idle the game while I did other stuff, to force it to end. Still making an effort to see more of the plot, so I can judge the game somewhat knowledgeably. That being said, Im looking forward to tearing this piece of garbage apart unless it magically redeems itself.
