This is the second of new release: the complete works for organ by CPE Bach. On the occasion of the tercentenary of the birth of CPE Bach, Olivier Vernet has recorded the complete organ works of his which is complemented by the reissue of two concertos for organ and orchestra he had engraved in 1998 with the Orchestra of Auvergne under the direction of Arie Van Beck and then greeted by Recommended by Classica and 5 Tuning Forks. The younger sister of Frederick II, Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia (1723-1787) had a large collection of compositions by CPE Bach suggesting that these works were regularly performed at Anna Amalia court. Moreover, Princess, great musician, had built an organ of 22 stops, 2 manuals and pedal, the Berliners Migendt very similar to the organ selected for this record. Finally, Olivier Vernet has selected the new edition of Annette Richards & David Yearsley published in the Packard Humanities Institute (Los Altos, California, 2008), the ninth volume met the entire organ works by CPE Bach edited from more recent research musicological.
