Like Father Like Son It pleases our heavenly Father when we obey not from a position of fear of punishment…hell and damnation….or reward of heaven…..not from seeking him because we know he is a rewarder of those that faithfully seek him….not to do good works from the bondage of fear…nor the desire of a high place in the kingdom bargaining for the best deal…not as a slave or hireling…..but rather to imitate him as sons do a Father…doing good with nothing expected in return just as our Father does for us……Then he can look down on us and say….”that’s my boy! A chip of the old block!” We become what he boasts of instead of us being boastful of our service…. May the grace of our Lord be with you always Selah
