Like I said beforehand, the president needs to be adequately - TopicsExpress

Like I said beforehand, the president needs to be adequately advised to rethink his appointments in the public sector. So many regions feel left out. These are the things that brood animosity between communities. Since, seemingly he doesnt read history unless compelled to, I wish to refer him to the story of Liberia during the days of one Samuel Doe. Or the story of Congo during the days of Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Kasavubu. He should go further and read about Mobutu Sese Seko after he changed Congo into Zaire. If still he doesnt learn from those, he should go across and read about Idi Amin in Uganda in the 70s and check the history of Rwanda up to the climax of the slaughter of a million people in 1994. Fortunately, all this information is available online. If push comes to shove, the president should know that he and his perceived supporters stand to lose more. I say perceived because this is not necessarily true. Just yesterday, one of his loyal supporters, one Moses Kuria, .was advocating for extermination of certain communities that are seen to be associated with terrorism. Unfortunately he did not provide the information to the police for action. Right now, the rift valley feels sidelined too. Who will save president Kenyatta from his own self-afflicted destruction that seems eminent? Will he wake up and smell the coffee? Will he stop listening to the sycophants surrounding him and listen to the Facebook activists for a moment?
