Like I said yesterday, the whole concept of blasphemy is so patently ridiculous as to be its own lampoon. A deity so small and petty as to be offended and demand satisfaction for the way it is addressed or invoked, while simultaneously ignoring the true obscenities of mass starvation, genocide, poverty and suffering, is simply not a deity worth worshipping. If God exists, such a being isnt the least bit concerned with how some dentist from Oxnard genuflects. That much, at the very least, is certain. Blasphemy is an affliction of idolaters. I cant believe we are talking seriously about such rot in the 21st century.
