Like Im always fond of saying, Music is the backdrop to our lives. As we all grow older and we hear a certain song? We are all instantaneously transported back in time to that era, or even an exact moment in our lives. If the memory surrounding that song just happens to be a good one? Maybe the best time of our lives? I dont care how old one is, or even if youre in a bad mood. Hearing it makes the memory and feelings associated with it rush back in to take hold and the spirit is lifted, and very often the feet as well. This older woman is proof positive of that.
