Like a baby announcing his arrival he squeezed through the gate and starts to howl. This is the baby season for dogs and there are pups all over the village. Not going to fall for it. The howling continues.So I go out and take him out of the gate (big mistake - carrying him ). He continues to howl as he crawls back through the gate . And the howling - not that of a covering, hungry pup- but more of a rock climber whos topped a peak! Standing tall on his front paws and rising to his full height of 5 inches and howling with his tiny nose pointed to the heavens! This is getting dangerously cute, so I ask Mama to go leave him some distance from the house. Mama does so, and a thought occurs- a life is a life...will he survive ? And just as regret starts - hes back ! Mama is surprised- But I left him way out there! The howling starts.I ignore him. To distract myself I go start cooking some sweet rice in butter , but alas the magic had already happened- Im cooking it for him ! I go out, get him in, give him a drink of water and then the sweet butter rice. Cookie goes to smell him but he growls her away ! Welcome home, I guess! Any names?
