Like a fine wine, Shasta Lake is the same from top to bottom... I really do apologize that I havent been keeping you updated for the past week :-( I do apologize, but I promise I am not going anywhere....just busy wrapped in my own business...and trust me....I couldnt do it without the support of the other on the lake!!!!! ;-) The pictures you see below are just part of the fun that was on the lake this week (one person, truly wish I could be at all of the events :-( ) In the last week on the lake, we had the Lake Shasta Caverns 50th Anniversary, Shasta Lake Houseboating, Bridge Bay Resort concert and star gazing party, Silverthorn Resort, Marina, Pizza & Pub playing music in their Pizza pub (the Thai Chicken pizza is my favorite...followed by a couple of the local microbrews :-D)! We also have events coming up soon like the CAST For Kids Foundation hosted by Packers Bay Marina Houseboat Vacations.... The Fregoso Outdoor Foundation will be having the Warriors on the Lake event in June hosting families of deployed and fallen Vets of the area, hosted by local businesses such as Jones Valley ( houseboats), Silverthorn Marina, Lake Shasta Caverns, Packers Bay Marina....with donations by many more!!!! And yes....we have been getting the questions about the lake level.... It is low. How many times can I say it though...WE TRULY HAVE MORE WATER THAN ANY OTHER MAN MADE LAKE IN CALIFORINIA....WHEN THE OTHERS ARE FULL!!!! Apparently we have no lacking in activities or ingenuity either ;-) Shasta Lake, the oasis of fun in CA!!!!
