Like a lot of people on here, Ive absolutely fallen in love with this school after visiting on Preview Day! I havent given much thought to housing, but I suppose Ill have to now that Im committing to VCU, so heres a bit about me: -Im your basic middle class white boy. I like folk music and live shows, I play guitar, Im learning to play mandolin, and I play video games. -Im a personable introvert, so I like people, but not all the time -In all honesty I wont say I like ALL genres of music, but I can love anything if I learn a bit about the artist. -Favorite artists include: 1. Ben Howard 2. The Postal Service 3. Run River North 4. The Oh Hellos 5. Fleet Foxes -Ill be majoring in Cinema, and most likely also in Business or something similar -I love movies to an unhealthy degree. Three favorites off the top of my head: 1. Moonrise Kingdom 2. Hot Rod 3. Silver Linings Playbook -BILL MURRAY -Favorite TV Shows: Bobs Burgers The Office Top Gear (UK) Community 30 Rock Flight of the Conchords -Im not consumed with a desire to maintain spotlessness, but I keep myself tidy, and Id hope a roommate would share this trait -I dont like sleeping in past 10 (which is totally crazy, right?) even on the WEEKENDS :O -I like reading while laying in an Eno hammock on a breezy day -Suns out, Chacos out -I once owned a Snuggie, but the relationship turned sour -Hiking is awesome! -Couches are awesome! -Ive got Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, Amazon Prime, and Spotify Premium. Your media needs are no more. -Something that I havent seen much of on here: I love Jesus, and my faith is very important to me. A roommate who I can be in fellowship with would be ideal, so if that doesnt sound appealing, I still love you, but this just wont work out. Its not me, its you. -Ive been involved in Young Life since Sophomore year, and I plan on continuing through college. Also, I might be living in the Honors College, so this all could be completely irrelevant P.S. This is terrifying
