Like all of the pandemic diseases that we survived during the Bush Administration, the Ebola outbreak is intended to instill fear in the American people so that they can be controlled more easily. Protecting the people from such a breakout in the USA is a legitimate act of government. Bringing it to the USA creates need and publicity puts pressure on drug manufacturers to create a cure when looking for one before was not economically viable as this is a disease of underdeveloped countries which are poor. Now they will look for ways to control it.. So fear, motivation for drug companies, and profit are the reason for this hype.. All about control..
