The light-heavyweight was clearly unimpressed with having lost his fight against Lithuanian opponent Algirdas Baniulis and took his frustration out in disgraceful style on the referee. Not only was his initial act of punching and knocking down the defenceless ref abhorrent in itself, he then proceeded to throw more punches while the official was on the ground. Baniulis did little – well, nothing – to aid the situation, downing tolls and running for cover as soon as things got a bit nasty. Fortunately, the ref was eventually rescued from Loncar, who was dragged out of the ring feet-first.
