In order for him (Obama) to be there, they would have had to shut down the whole VA for security reasons. They would have really interrupted the flow and the work for everybody that day. Imagine if a single vet or an entire group of them had their appointments canceled owing to the security needs of a presidential visit. Obamas critics would have had a field day. The complaints really show the people slamming the president dont use that VA and clearly dont understand the logistics, Gallego said. Hes (Obama) not going to make a situation for the VA.
