Like in all situations where extra ordinary individuals break the mould and the status quo, Lupita Nyongo, the Kenyan natural African beauty, has attracted mixed reactions! Some are condemning hollywood for playing the african/black slave stereotype. She has scored a first, not in imitation long hair, but as plain and as Afrikan can be- let that sink in. It is the Afrikan century this 21st century. Afrikans must understand that the world will look to us if we stop the imitation and begin to be us, be original. Congratulations to a truly black Afrikan queen!
