Like often times has an uncanny ability to attract like. Not always, but a lot of times. I notice this in business, and life, more and more these days. The consciousness of an organization starts at the Top and drifts into the field of customers, members & affiliates, or whatever you call your Team. It oftentimes shows up inside a family, as well. For example - when you respect people, you attract others who respect people too. When you love on people, you build a Team of people who love on people too. And when you come from the heart and really care, you can expect that the people around you are very similar. You can even breed this mindset, and bring it out in people through leading by example. And yet it goes both ways. When you are a jerk - you attract others who are the same. Your customers, your members, and your affiliates. A lot of times, they take on your own personality. I see this every day. They tend to take on your qualities and do things that you yourself, might find repulsive. For example - if you demonstrate that it’s ok to disrespect others, expect to be disrespected. If you show lack of concern for other people, expect to be disregarded at some point in the future. If you lean towards hypocrisy, expect that those around you could change their tune mid-stream, and maybe shock you, when the heat gets turned up enough. So be careful about how you treat others, because it might just come back to bite you in the ass. And remember, what’s inside a person always comes out, when they are squeezed.
