It is about our company (online food delivery website), and its innovative Green marketing idea; instead of giving away flyers, which people hardly read and keep, we took the budget money and gave it away to people. We took 2 Reais bills, and put a small recycled post-it paper on it, with a stamp of our logo and slogan. We went out and distributed it to the people on the streets, and we just had an out of the box experience. It was very shocking for people to receive money like that, out of the blue. There were even people who did not believe it was actual money, and they did not accept, I would say almost 20%. The reactions were so amazing, and unexpected that it was lots of fun to give out money like that. Now before we knew it, the newspaper contacted us and wrote an article about this strategy!
