Like so many of the dogs that drift through the shelter, Hennesy is a stray with an unknown history and puzzling behaviors. Hennesy presents as timid and frightened, but without aggression; she received an experience/no children rating from the behavior assessor. She initially showed these behaviors7 with her volunteer, but developed trust quite rapidly and sought contact and affection. Border collies are considered to be at the top of intelligence for dogs, and have traditionally held jobs on ranches, protecting and herding livestock. This beautiful blue-eyed baby will do well in a non-chaotic setting where opportunities for physical activity and mental challenges abound.
