Like the popular adage goes, take the message even if one doesnt like the face of the messenger. The right thinking Ibomites arent oblivious of all the facts stated by the distinguish Senator as they have severally been debated on this medium by people who saw ahead of time and now coming from a serving Senator of the federal republic gives it more vent. We may probably wish to take a cusory look at the issue of THIRD TERM which to me is so visible that a blind can see. First, Akpabio served under Attah for 6yrs, spent 8yrs as the gov. and now wants to IMPOSE Udom, if he succeeds, (God forbid),that will be another 8yrs making a total of 22yrs in the corridor of power. With this, power in AK wouldve virtually become his and would even dictate who would take over from Udom/Moses Ekpo which would add a further 8yrs to his reign to make it 30yrs. The question is, is AKwa Abasi Ibom State now Kwara State where the Sarakis call the shots of who becomes what in the state? Though Ibomites have already made up their minds on what to do during elections, the call by Ita Enang should further affirm our resolve to resist IMPOSITION for the good of our dear state.
