Like to report that the Terry Fox Run was great today although starting out my first fun run with a 30 degree hill was a bit daunting. I think there were about 150 people present with representatives from the Four Seasons Hotels, The Canadian High Commision and local Hampshire running clubs. It was way too clear that I have not done this sort of running for decades. Luckily the couch25k program did well to get me prepared. Dragged my son along so that there would be someone to carry me at least part of the way.. Great social atmosphere and an interesting 5k (fields, up hill and dale : P ) Fantastic day out with a hog roast/kids events for charity as well. Will certainly try to attend again next year . Think 25K was raised last year.
