The Shankly Family Foundation Singapore What is SFFSG about? - The Shankly Family Foundation Singapore is the brain child of a few passionate football fanatics that shares the very same values that the foundation aims to promote and uphold. - In collaboration with our UK counterparts, we aim to promote the foundation through charitable or sports events that strikes a chord with fans and community alike, as well as to spread the joy, values and spirit that is associated with the Shankly family. Who are the people behind SFFSG: - Currently in our bootroom, we have Kelvin, Joshua, Mark and Tony. Moving forward, we would like to engage more members, get them involved and grow as a team. What is SFFSG’s key focus: - To promote SFF in sports community in Singapore, Asia. - To spread and share values of SFF in organizing footballing events and publicizing them for the benefits of kids and teens in Singapore, Asia. - To organize regular recreational activities for kids and teens. - To organize charitable initiatives. - In furtherance, we will work with various parts of the world and even help send kids to LFC Academy to realize their dream. What have SFFSG done till date? We started to engage SFF UK late last year and did a few events as such - “Meet & Greet with Didi Hamann”; where teens from YouthReach get a rare meet up with Didi. - Chinese New Year event with a local elderly home; where we distribute mandarin oranges and red packets to share the joy of festival. - With Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) with a Buddy Walk and Carnival in the heart of Orchard Road. What are the projects or events that SFFSG would like to be involved in near future? - Moving forward, we already or are going to engage more organization bodies in doing such charity collaboration. - On top, we will be touching base with local sports schools to focus on youth development. What is the next BIG thing you are going to expect from SFFSG? - We are now working on the detail for Auctioning of exclusive memorabilia with a local power house entity.
