Lil Bub was part of a ferral litter, and was the runt of the litter. She was born with a smaller jaw, and no teeth. Her mother didnt reject her, Bub just couldnt drink her moms milk, because of her jaw. She was also born with osteopetrosis, which does the opposite of the human version of osteoporosis. She was just a year old when it started getting worse. Without help, her bones would become dense, shed be immobile, and then her organs would eventually shut down. She would have died a month later after the dire prognosis. A fan of Lil Bub told Dude owner about Assisi Loop, which, as you see in this video, has done wonders for her life and mobility:
