Lila Poonawalla Foundation LPF gearing up girls to transform their lives through scholarships! Pune, Monday 1st July 2013: This is the 18th year of the Lila Poonawalla Foundation Scholarships. It is a merit-cum-need based scholarship for girls of Pune and Pune district. This year, Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) will be giving scholarships for both, Post-graduate and Undergraduate studies. Girls who are taking admission in the academic year 2013-14, either in PG or UG are eligible to apply. Post-graduate scholarships are for any discipline. Undergraduate Scholarship are for the girls who are taking admission for studies in any of the following disciplines - Engineering (all streams - BE., Diploma and 2nd Yr Engineering after Diploma), Science, Pharmacy, Diploma in Education (D.Ed.), Physiotherapy, Nursing, Architecture. The scholarships will be awarded for the entire period of the course subject to academic performance and participation in various educational programs organised by the foundation. Forms for both, Post graduate and Under Graduate scholarships will be available from 1st of July 2013 at C-58A, Abhimanshree Society, off. Baner Road, Opposite ICICI Direct, Pune. (Closest Bus Stop – Sakal Nagar) Apart from this, the foundation is now introducing a scholarship for nursing in satara district. There is only one college in Panchgani where there are many deserving girls who need help and support. This scholarship is an initiative to support these girls. Through all these initiatives, LPF is trying to reach out to more and more deserving girls and bring about a transformation in their lives and the lives of their families.
