Limits Learned In the storm nothing could be done, Except to - TopicsExpress

Limits Learned In the storm nothing could be done, Except to batten down; And before the waves left to run, Over each cresting crown. Like a dance of death if you will, Inside our tiny boat. The battle seemingly uphill; For how long could we float? Pitching, rolling, tossing, turning, Vicious in the dark night. Now our limits we were learning, With the storm at its height. With prayers only to stem our fear; Nothing more could we do. The course and set not ours to steer, As in God’s hands we blew. And limits learned by we adrift, Upon uneven keel. For just how quick a sinner shifts, Depends on the boat’s heel. Dave
