Lin and I just watched 60 Minutes, specifically, the segment on the Africa Mercy Ships. We were very moved. The ships are owned by a private U.S. charity, are staffed by volunteer medical doctors and nurses who pay to volunteer, and regularly stop at Central African ports helping locals overcome deceases we in the West do not know,such as enamel tumors, deceases which due to ignorance make them outcasts in their societies.
