Linda Update: Linda had her first Pre-retirement Seminar at Cascade UniServ Council in Bothell with Dixie Hughes and Jan Philips on Friday, Oct. 24th & Saturday, Oct. 25th. Though most days she has little energy and sleeps a lot; on those two days she was alert & functional. Seemed like a different person. More importantly, the next two days went pretty much normally. My humble opinion is that the seminars are enjoyable events and she can rise to the occasion because doing it makes her feel good and, most importantly, useful. Shes got a week off before her next seminar on Nov. 7th & 8th. That will be the weekend after her next chemo treatment and it will involve a little bit of travel. One down and eight more to go.
