Lindas Birthday Poem. Happy Birthday to me, and by turning 60, now I cant see. Before that age, I was doing just fine. Now I find Im getting alittle blind. You might wonder how that could be. Its because you all look a different color to me. Maybe thats a new version of 20/20, and if that is, wouldnt it be funny. I am happy to earn this brand new age. Because at this time in my life, Im turning a new page. Now to talk about who is precious to me. What will I say, just listen and see. First well talk about the husband who is blind and deaf. And as far as the other senses, he has none left. Next well speak about my only son, remember I still have the spoon, so you better run. As far as the daughter, what can I say. Shes a pain in the neck, in her own little way. As far as the sisters, what can I say. They are all very different in their own little way. Well we will start with the youngest, Lori. When it comes to excuses, she makes up a good story. Next, we will pick on my sister Irene. She drinks too much coffee, so shes full of caffeine. Then we will talk about the sister named Mars. Next time shes bad, well just put her behind bars. Now well talk about my sister Diane. who is staying very devoted to Eddie, because hes her man. Now for the last sister whose name is Sue. What can I say, youre special to me too. And now we will talk about the brother-in-laws. They come in and out through so many doors. First well talk about Jim. With him, I really dont know where to begin. Now well talk about Larry. With all the family members and the dog, he just has too much to carry. Then next is Ricky. One good thing about him, he is not so picky. Last we have Eddie, sometimes I think about him when Im eating a bowl of spaghetti. So who do we have left, oh my daughter - in -law, she is someone, I truly cannot ignore. And now we have my special nephews and nieces. What can I say about them, but I love them to pieces. And one niece I have is so special to me. Her name is April just look at her and see. And now we cant forget about my 3 beautiful dolls. First well talk about Jessica who is nine. The only thing wrong with that age, you cant drink a cup of wine. Then well talk about Rebecca who is just six. I like picking on her, just for kicks. And now for Isabella, who is only 3, next time I go to the bank, she better come with me. And now we will talk about who is net. Why its going to be the family pets. First we have Ace. When I think about him, he is kissing Grandpas face. Next we have Layla who is the brand new pet. I gotta say that dog has alot of pep. And I wont forget about my grandson Bear. When I think of him, sometimes I shed a tear. And as for the bird, I dont have a good word. So who do we have left, yes its all my friends. When we sometimes disagree, we still make amends. So whats so special about turning 60. I find that I am now getting very picky. And dont even bother asking why. Becayse my mind is going, so dont even try. But one thing I know, I am not over the hill. Why because I remember to take my pill. So life will go on and so they say. As you know the old saying, tomorrow is a brand new day. I know this poem must finally stop. Or someone will get a gun and I will get shot. So everyone remain in their seat. Because soon, we will all have something good to eat. So here is a kiss and a hug. Now I will finally pull the plug.
