Lindh And Hoggins Medal Victors Oscar Lindh picked up his first tournament victory of the season by claiming the March Monthly Medal with a one shot cushion. With almost identical nines of 41 and 40 his round of 81 was enough to beat runner-up Brian Stewart by one who finished with six solid pars after a rocky front nine. Finishing a further one shot back from Brian was Rita Engelbrecht with nines of 41 and 42 for a third place winning score of 83. In the Net Division Dave Hoggins continued his blistering form following up his GCE RAK Seniors Classic victory with another top net prize in the Medal. Dave dropped just two shots on the front nine which included two birdies. Unfortunately he couldn’t continue his front nine form on the back although his favourite score of 69 was certainly worthy of top honours. Two shots back from Dave was Tony Cashman with a very solid 71. Tony had very consistent nines of level and one under to finish one shot clear of wife Ma Li Min who picked up the third and final prize with here round of 72. There were five two’s recorded on the day which were scored by Steve Kelly, Terri Stewart, Dave Hoggins, Cindy Rials, and Dewald Lubbe.
