Once dubbed as ‘Mr Tin Pan Alley’, Graham has toured with the likes of Tom Jones and The Animals. He also backed John Lee Hooker and The Walker Brothers and was in Bobcats, the house band at the Scotch of St James, a cornerstone of Swinging London during the 60’s. He also stepped in for Syd Barrett with Pink Floyd, recorded with Donovan, was hired by Them, played on the first Small Faces single and joined the legendary Bobby Tench in an early line up of Gass – all this before being signed by Atlantic as their in-house London producer/songwriter. The list can go on and on… Graham arrived at the Lindo showroom with two close friends, Martin Smith and Will Brown. After a little jam, accompanied by Martin on guitar, Graham performed a lovely version of his hit for Sharon Tandy, “Somebody Speaks your Name”. All three were a pleasure to chat to and record with.
