Lindsay says: Hi Moms, I need some advice if you have a moment. My 2 year old goes to a private in-home daycare part time, and to the best of my knowledge has been thriving there. However, yesterday he came home with several bite marks on his arm and said one of the girls ate his arm. He is two and it isnt easy to get a straight story out of him. The daycare provider didnt know anything had happened, although the marks were dark and alarming, showed up in pictures and all. It did not break the skin, so I didnt take him to the doctor. As far as I know, the issue was addressed as soon as we made the provider aware of it. I dont think she hid it maliciously or anything, but her not knowing concerns me that maybe shes overwhelmed. Should I send my son back, especially if hes having trouble getting along with the other girl? I dont have to send him to daycare, its just a way for me to get things done a couple days a week. Thanks in advance for any help and advice, this daycare thing is new to me!
