Lisa, Douglas, St. Louis, Crystal, Todd, Paulina, Michael...just a handful of the people I had the privilege to meet today on skid row. They were seen today, heard today, some of them said yes for prayer & it was an honor to do so. I felt so proud to be a part of an organization like the Dream Center, but even more than that, I hope they saw Jesus today. So many would suddenly hide their crack pipes or turn their faces away - ashamed, they wouldnt make eye contact at first, but i locked mine. I hope they saw i wasnt judging, that i was genuinely wanting to know more about them, their stories. God through His Spirit already revealed their pain. Some just wanted to talk, many were surprised when i held out my hand to introduce myself, even more surprised by my hand on their shoulder. Then the surprise was mine when Michael (very respectfully) hugged me & i swallowed hard as i walked on. God, i pray for every one of them. For them to know You, to feel Your peace, comfort & an ease of their minds. And i would do it all again tomorrow yall for real. #watersglobal #watersdreamteam
