Close behind was in form Sheila Denn who once again finished in the prizes taking 2nd with 37pts. There were a number of singles matches down for decision in the past week in some tough encounters we saw P Bolger Mc Carthy defeated by Lady Captain J Cahillane, N O’Sullivan defeated by K Moynihan, both on the 18th, JJ Tobin defeated by H Farrow, O Scanlon gave a walk over to A Henley, L Ní Chonchubhair must yet play A O’Hara. The foursomes also throws up some interesting contests with K Moynihan & L Ní Chonchubhair v JJ Tobin & A Henley, N O’Sullivan & H Lane v J Cahillane & A O’Hara, C Neville & H Farrow v S Denn & O Scanlon, M Beecher & B Burke v P Bolger Mc Carthy & B Daly.
