Listed below are a couple different ways YOU can help Fur the Love of PAWS continue to do what they do - save lives at the North Platte Animal Shelter. We rely on donations, fundraisers and the support of our awesome animal loving friends to make it through each month with ever growing medical rescue bills. Most animals we rescue have never had proper vet care, and more often than not - require extensive medical care to put their best paw forward. Please take a moment to see how you can help, and consider one of the options. Thank you! 1. Do you shop on Amazon? Click the upper left corner on their home page that say Amazon Smile and select Fur the Love of PAWS Rescue as your charity of choice. 0.5% of every purchase is donated to FUR Rescue. Its not a ton, but a little bit from a lot of purchases can make a big difference. Its free, its easy and it helps! 2. Do you walk, exercise or enjoy running? Download the Walk For a Dog or ResQwalk app on your Android or iPhone and select Fur the Love of PAWS as your charity of choice. When you walk, you earn - and then they donate a small portion to FUR Rescue. Again - its cheap, its free and a little bit from a lot of contributors goes a long ways. 3. Consider our current fundraiser by Callen Wright, Photographer. $50 for a 30 minute session of photography. Capture memories with your pets, with your children, a loved one or maybe do something crazy with it! 80% of the money raised will be donated to Fur the Love of PAWS. This is valid until Oct. 31, so contact her today and get scheduled. Such an awesome deal and we are grateful for Callens talent and generosity to do this. 4. Collect your aluminum at home, at work or at a party. Tie it up tight and donate your aluminum to one of the four Cans for Critters drop spots. Jut throw it in and we do all the rest! Free, easy, and we stick with the theme - a little bit from a lot goes a long ways! 5.
