Listen As we stop and truly listen, God speaks beyond words. Notice the pauses between the noises of everyday life—conversations, the sounds of nature, even noise in the background. Every pause is an opportunity to explore that which we are hearing from God. Enjoy the connection with Him. Do not ignore His whisper, quiet yourself and you will hear. Speak less and notice more. God is continually seeking to communicate with us. By allowing the His silence to be, we can comprehend what He is telling us. In His omnipresence, our awareness naturally becomes richer and deeper. As we stop and truly listen, God speaks beyond words. And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.
