Listen. I only just barely feel confident about performing poems on stage. The LAST thing I feel comfortable with is having to improvise on stage. But fortunately I surround myself with people who force me out of my comfort zone in the best possible ways. On August 25, Im participating in this show called Speechless, which has been described as PowerPoint karaoke. Performers are each challenged with giving a presentation on the spot with a powerpoint deck they are seeing with the audience for the first time. In other words, a presenters worst nightmare: giving a presentation with absolutely no preparation. Also known as: terrifying. And hopefully: hilarious.
