“Listen to me, O my people, while I give you stern warnings. O Israel, if you would only listen to me! You must never have a foreign god; you must not bow down before a false god. For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things. “But no, my people wouldn’t listen. Israel did not want me around. So I let them follow their own stubborn desires, living according to their own ideas. Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! (Psalms 81:8-13 NLT) Rule of thumb if God has brought you out of Egypt ( what ever your place of bondage use to be) be careful not to turn back. Be careful not to erect other Gods in your heart that may pull you away from serving God. The lust of the world has such a strong pull that it dont take much sometime. Church can give you some knowledge of God but if you dont have a relationship with God then its just religion. We can end up just going thru the motions but have no power. Turn to God keep His thoughts before you, His Word before you. Operate in it, its more than just words. Dont allow the god of this world to persuade you or erect idols in your heart. We open ourself up for attack with certain things that we do, entertain, give place to, we gotta know that! Im tellin ya doe this Christian walk aint nothing to brag about if you aint living it to the fullest. That religion aint bout nun! We serve a living God we gotta act & live like it. # power up
