Listening in to one of my podcasts, I heard about a 27 year old female with stage 3 breast cancer and what she should do about her finances. Such a sad, sad story and situation to be in. It hit me personally being in that same age frame. I dont know this person, but I felt for her. I was close to tears listening to her story. It made me reflect on my life. I dont have the same situation at all and I still complain. I work too much, I have too much going on, in stressed out. Boy, I felt ashamed at myself and complaining about my problems. There is so much more to life and this just shows that it is too short to worry about the minuscule things that happen every day. I have a job, Im healthy, Im doing pretty well (and working towards making it better) with my finances, I have a great family, a wonderful supportive boyfriend, and fantastic friends. I say it time and time again to myself and to others, be happy with what you have and can do, rather than what you cant. I wish the best for that young woman and her family and friends and her story will remind me to appreciate my life and hopefully it can do it for you all too.
