Listening to.....A Flock Of Seagulls-Space Age Love Song ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Taken from their 1982 album A Flock Of Seagulls & featuring on the soundtrack to the 2003 film Monster. This is the album version of the classic Space Age Love Song which i prefer to the slightly shorter video mix that was released as a single. A Flock Of Seagulls are one of my favourite bands of the 1980s & i often feel they were overlooked purely because of their outlandish appearence & not least singer Mike Scores legendarily weird hairdo! Their albums still hold up today & their songs I Ran(So Far Away), Transfer Affection, Whos That Girl, Heartbeat Like A Drum, The More You Live, The More You Love & Wishing(If I Had A Photograph Of You) remain classics of the Synth-Pop/Rock genre. Space Age Love Song is one of my favourites by the band whose music & lyrics were are Science Fiction/Futurist inspired as their look. A Flock Of Seagulls influence can be heard in bands as diverse as Sigue Sigue Sputnik, La Roux & even The Killers. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
