Listening to Suzy Bogguss tonight on my ipod. Recently downloaded two of her songs, Outbound and Wildwood Flower, into my Melancholia playlist, and those songs are worth listening to. Was thinking, but nothing else shes done much appeals to me. Then Im sitting there pondering, is that fair? Taking two of her songs, and saying nothing else shes done is compelling? Suzy makes a lot of money, my opinions notwithstanding, but still, money isnt everything. For her, I suspect it never was. Ms Bogguss works hard at her art, and if Im going to give mouth to what I think, maybe I should be fair and make an attempt to know more. I did this evening, and yes, there is more to her than two songs. Yay! for my side, since I already own a couple of her CDs.
