Listening to the Maternal Health Channel and looking at the problem from all angles : systemic failure and lack of information. The deceased insisted that they stayed at home when she was bleeding because she thought it was normal. In the end she lost her life and the baby. Very tragic indeed. May their souls rest in peace. Our advice is that no one who sees any unusual sign should sit at home and assume that it will be well. Seek early intervention. It may save the two lives. Ask if you are not sure.
