Literally saved a babys life this afternoon at work. A mom rolls her cart up to easy scan with baby seated in the front of the cart. I immediately get a feeling that something could happen here so I keep watch like a hawk. Baby is not buckled into the cart. She has her back to the baby as she is putting things in the bags. Baby is watching mom and is mesmerized by her earrings. Mom bends to put something in the bag and baby stands up in the cart seat and reaches for her. She has no clue as she is rearranging stuff in her bag. The SECOND I see baby stand up, I run over to the cart and grab him to steady him. Mom finally notices baby standing up and gets him seated back in the cart. Crisis averted.
