Literature is a journey that is inscribed in the pages, powered by the imagination that preserves the ideals of the people and a pen is the tongue of imaginations. Write Right is a platform for you bringing innovative sort of competition to carve out the writing capabilities. The contest is organized to map your writing skills at a larger scale with a melange of excellence and thrill. Join this competition to pen down your ideas prolifically. We look forward for your participation. EVENT DETAILS: There are two categories of this competition: 1. Urdu 2. English All the rounds and rules are same for both of the languages (When you apply, dont forget to mention the category you are interested in). There are various rounds. Round 1 and 2 are for every team, on the basis of result, teams will qualify to round 3, and then 4.... Round 1: (Picture Story/Poetry) A picture will be displayed, participants will have to write a story/poetry related to that image. Round 2: Contestants will be given limited time, And will be given any place in EME. They will have to find that place, ask people about that and write about it (Poetry/writing , comic/ serious every thing is allowed). Round 3: (Guess the Personality/Book) 2 weeks before the competition, a list of books and writers/poets will be uploaded on event page. In round 3, 4-5 hints about the author/book (from list) will be announced, you will have to guess then. Round 4: (Comic Writing) Participants will be told one word about which they will have to write a comic. Rules: 1. Max. 3 Participants per team are allowed. 2. Any team/participant found using unfair means will be immediately disqualified. 3. Whatever you write should be your own, not a copied material. 4. Any misconduct, violation of rules or inappropriate behavior by any member will lead to disqualification of the team. 5. First round is for every participant. Further participation is based on efficient performance. 6. Use of Cell phones and internet is not allowed. 7. A fixed duration of time shall be allotted for answering. The duration shall be enclosed on the spot. Marks will be deducted if a team cant complete the task in allotted time. 8. Equal number of questions shall be asked or tasks will be given to each team in a particular round. 9. No arguments shall be entertained regarding the nature of the questions/topics. 10. It is recommended you arrive a little before time (preferably 15 – 20 minutes before the event). No extra time will be provided if you come late. 11. Arguments with event head or with volunteers will not be tolerated. 12. Participants are not allowed to bring any helping material related to the competition. 13. Any thing you write should be written on the spot, your previously written poems/articles are not allowed. 14. The judging criteria will vary with rounds and will be announced before each round. 15. After each task team scores will be updated and displayed on scoreboard. 16. Only a limited number of teams will enter the final round. After initial round(s), teams on the bottom of the scoreboard will be eliminated. 17. Be prepared for a Surprise Round as well. 18. The decision of the judges is final and unquestionable. Anyone trying to challenge them will be dealt severely.
