Little Abby our last rescue. She has parvo and is getting better. She is taking antibiotics and vits. She was wormed yesterday but still has a belly full of worms. We have to do her once a week for several weeks. There isnt anymore blood so we figure she will make it unless she catches anything else before she can be vaccinated 15 days after the end of the antibiotics. she is such a sweety. She is still terrible thin. her belly is fat with worms but every nodule on her spine can be felt when you stroke her. She was severely mal nourished and her baby teeth have rotted due to this. Her teeth are brown. With good nutrition now the second teeth should come through okay. She is going to be a really sweet dog for someone. She already jumps up to give me a kiss. Could be a poodle mix we arent really sure. She is half bald now but will be fluffy when recovered. So glad we rescued this little one she would have died of dehydration that day. She drunk copious amounts of water having laid in the gutter during the day. She was hungry, thirsty and sick. Now she has a good chance of a great life. She will be a tiny dog. (I think).
