Little Lana loves the outdoors & animals, but she has an adverse reaction to loud crowing roosters & bellowing cows. She bursts out in spells of crying when she hears them. Those loud sounds can get ones attention easily especially if you dont understand the animals. I am patient & know that she will overcome this in the near future. Once she finds out that they are practically harmless, her fear will subside. Gods Word tells us that Satan is like a ROARING lion roaming to & fro seeking whom he MAY devour (I Pet. 5:8). He speaks loudly into our ears during emotional & confusing times. We must remember that we do NOT have to accept his advice or encouragement. In order to stand against his onslaught, we must know THE WORD & use our authority against him. He is powerless against us unless we yield ourselves to his will. That happens so often because he thrives off of fear. Our weapon against fear is faith. Our faith increases as we grow in THE WORD & in our relationship with the Lord. We do not have to be fearful of the devils roarings when our hearts are set upon the Lover of our souls. When we submit ourselves to the Lord & resist the enemy, Hes the one who has to flee. The peace of God is never shaken by the hollerings of the devil for we walk by faith & not by fright.
