Little Toby is a cool California dude (probably a Chihuahua/Min Pin mix) who asks for his sweater when its time to go out in the Washington rain. Hes about 10 years old and has no idea that makes him a senior dog. Toby skips, hops, and leaps around like a little grasshopper when hes excited, but he sure knows how to slow it down and cuddle too. He sleeps under the covers in bed, and barely moves all night - a wonderful hot water bottle! He loves to play with other dogs (although really big dogs make him nervous), and even asks the cats in his foster home to play with him, although they usually wont. He has a heart murmur that doesnt slow him down any, and has several broken teeth, probably due to severe kennel anxiety. He will panic and bark nonstop if left in a kennel or crate, even if he can see people - Toby really doesnt need a kennel at all though. Hes well-behaved on leash and in the car (although he doesnt like driving very much and sometimes whimpers a little bit). His little busybody self just has to be involved in everything, and hell climb and worm his way into laps and hearts of just about everyone he meets. Toby would be happiest in a home with more than one person, since he likes to share the love and wiggle from lap to lap, and either a doggie sibling or regular play-dates with other small dogs. Toby is in foster care in Ocean Shores, WA No transports.
