Little Tweaks: I have noticed among some of the Christian - TopicsExpress

Little Tweaks: I have noticed among some of the Christian preachings and teachings; error. Many are being taught in the Church that whatever is in the Bible, if you believe it; you shall have it. There is some truth to this but my heart is to take you deeper concerning desire. We are in a time of crossing over and many will experience great breakthroughs in this hour. I see many last minute change-ups, exchanges, and replacements. You have to know this: God wants you to get this so you can have that! What I want to address is you receiving the desires of your heart. The Lord will not only GIVE you the desires but will give you the FAITH to believe for those desires, until they come to pass. I hope you get this because just because you desire a thing doesn’t necessarily mean that’s God’s desire for you and if you truly want God’s best we need to inquire of Him to find out what His will is for us. If you want the Lord to “GIVE” you a thing; you need to find out what you have been “GIVEN” before the foundations of the earth and what has been hidden in the secret recesses of your heart to believe for. I hope I am not confusing you but I want you to RECEIVE ALL the Lord has for you. I desire wholeness for you. Many are frustrated because their prayers aren’t being answered and this is one of the reasons why. Many have an “eenie-meenie” “miney-moe” mentality and pick and choose a thing; ordering up something the Lord didn’t order and expecting Him to pay for it. In Psalm 37:4 it says: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall GIVE thee the DESIRES of thine heart. Desires in Hebrew is: מִשְׁאָלָה mish·ä·lä Etymology (Root Word) שָׁאַל shä·al Which means first: to ask, inquire, borrow, consult (of deity, oracle). You see, if you want God to GIVE you a thing; you need to go into the Secret Place and inquire of Him as to what He desires to GIVE you. Second meaning: to be given on request, to grant, make over to, let (one) ask (successfully) or give or lend on request (then) grant or make over to. So what people are not being taught is that finding a Scripture Promise in the Word; whether it be for a spouse, house, vineyard (business), etc. You need to first go to God and pray in the Spirit over this desire and as you do; seek and inquire of the Lord what it is specifically He desires to give you and the strategy to receive.
