Little baby Caesar. Sept 20th 2014~ For all the newcomers to this group. I rescued this tiny baby squirrel 24 days ago. I was called to go pick this little guy up as he fell from a tree and cut his eyelid on a branch from a bush under the tree. It has since healed, but has left a scar on his left eye. I just hope and pray his eye is okay underneath the lid. He weighed only 13 grams when rescued, which is very tiny. I weighed him two days ago and he was a whopping 61 grams and I am sure he weighs more now. I will re weigh him later today again. Anyway you can see the before picture as to see how tiny and how different he looked. He is doing awesome! This is the first time I rescued one this young, but what a success it has been for sure! His eyes are still sealed shut and will be for another week or two. What a handsome little guy he is for sure!!
