Little habits that have been with us, even before our bonds were fractured and destroyed that tethered us to the British, are still here with us today. Have you ever thought about why we call former Senators, Senator (insert name here) even after they get out of office? Were still subconsciously infatuated by royalty, I think. Heres an idea, lets stop calling former Presidents, Senators, and other former elected officials by their former title. Its neither deserved nor needed. They arent loyalty, they arent any better than anyone else. Its Bill Clinton, George Bush, George W. Bush, not President Bill Clinton, President George Bush, and not President George W. Bush.
