Little know fact, which the German chef wont be happy Im mentioning but....4 years ago this week, I think as Ive said before, the Marine/Army Stryker Brigade, station on the Big Island of Hawaii, asked us to lead their unit in Hilo, Hawaiis, Veterans Day Parade. As most of you know, Hawaii is the most liberal of all states and as expected, demonstrators on the parade route, tried to rush the military convoy. See attached picture #2, and you see two American flags. Im carrying the flag nearest the convoy (Im wearing a blue cap) and hidden behind a policeman on a bike, is my wife. You can barely see her American flag. As the convoy neared the protesters, they rushed the vehicles. Beth, not known for her size, blocked their movement, stood her ground, and forced them to retreat. As you can see, a policeman on a bicycle arrived moments later. Not only is she a great wife and great cook, LOL, but a fearless American, willing to put her body in harms way. I love her!!
