Little notes from the AMDA Handbook: Students should anticipate - TopicsExpress

Little notes from the AMDA Handbook: Students should anticipate spending approximately 30 hours per week in class, plus an additional 15 - 20 hours rehearsing outside of the classroom...Any student with five (5) absences in a class will receive a failing grade for that class...Classroom doors are closed at the time class is scheduled to begin. Students will not be permitted to enter the class after that point and will be marked absent...(so I guess youd better not have 5 tardies either!)...Students may not leave class without the permission of the instructor. A student who walks out of class may be dismissed from that class and possibly from AMDA Ok... I guess the UW was pretty slack... BTW, James Harrison Cogswell is jumping up and down in the seat next to me about the thought of being in class/rehearsal for 50+ hours per week. Sicko.
